I love all these light up costumes they're coming out with. The idea is absolutely adorable. However, in my experience with costumes, I'm certain they'll be just plain shitty. The lights probably wont work on the majority of them and I'm sure you can see all the crappy wiring structure of the lighting. I'll be that the lights are also just in the front of the dresses and not the back. I HATE that. I'm too damn OCD for my own good.
Even so, that light up ladybug looks tempting. lol.
Last year I was a
butterfly. I ordered the costume medium, but the measurements given were incorrect. However, I kept the medium anyway because the small was too short for me and my ass shows. If I pull it down my tits fall out. The wings in BOTH packages were very poorly painted pieces of cheap shit. I substituted them with light-up Tinkerbell wings I bought in Disneyland.
My bf and I went to Disneyland on Halloween night for this fun thing they do at the California Adventure park last year. We plan to go again this year. Last year I had a bad injury to my knee and was wheelchair-bound, so he rolled me all over the parks. People thought it was hilarious when they told me "You don't need a wheelchair, you have wings! Just fly away."
So this year I'm buying something with a gun. Trying to decide amongst saloon girl + buckshot, Red Riding Hood with a pistol for added wolf protection, Alice in Wonderland and her jabberwocky revolver or alien space girl with dual action gun/purse.
